Cathleen T. Butler, Partner

Cathleen T. Butler has been practicing Trust and Estate law since 1996. She received her B.A. from Bucknell University and law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Butler served as a judicial law clerk for a Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division, General Equity and Probate Part of the New Jersey Superior Court. She was formerly associated with Gibbons P.C., where she specialized in Trust and Estate law for over eleven years. Ms. Butler is the author of several published articles and a main contributor and co-author of New Jersey Estate Litigation Treatise and annual supplements, a leading authoritative guide on probate litigation in New Jersey, published by New Jersey Law Journal Books.


Ms. Butler counsels clients on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, charitable giving, and probate and guardianship matters.

William B. Butler, Partner

William B. Butler received his B.A. from Villanova University and his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Butler has been practicing law in Westfield, New Jersey since 1968 and was formerly a partner at the law firm of Hooley, Butler & DiFrancesco. Mr. Butler's practice focuses on general corporate matters, commerical tax appeals, commerical real estate transactions, zoning, planning and land use.
